Spoto has announced an upgrade policy that will qualify you for a free upgrade to an appropriate CCNA or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) product for new Cisco exam tracks if you purchase certain Spoto products following Cisco’s announcement of new exam tracks. To be eligible for the free upgrade, you must purchase an existing single-user Spoto product license after June 1, 2019. This upgrade policy applies to Spoto NetSim Network Simulator for CCNA or CCNP, Spoto ExSim-Max Practice Exam products for CCNA and CCNP, and products Spoto courseware for CCNA and CCNP.
Improve Spoto ExSim-Max CCNA Practice Exams
The free upgrade to the ExSim-Max Spoto Practice Exam product is a bit more complex than the NetSim upgrade because of all the CCNA concentration exams that Cisco is replacing with the new CCNA 200-301 exam. Typically, if you purchase a single user license for Spoto ExSim-Max for Cisco 200-125 CCNA products after June 1, 2019, you are eligible for a free upgrade to Spoto ExSim-Max for the Cisco 200-301 CCNA exam when it becomes available.
Additionally, if you purchase a single user license for the Spoto ExSim-Max product for Cisco 100-105 ICND1 and the Spoto ExSim-Max product for Cisco 200-105 ICND2 after June 1, 2019, you are eligible for a free upgrade to Spoto ExSim-Max for Cisco 200-301 CCNA exam. However, single user licenses for ICND1 products only or ICND2 products only after June 1, 2019, do not qualify you for a free upgrade. You must purchase both products to be eligible for the upgrade.
In addition to the CCNA Routing and Redirect credential, Cisco has decided to replace a number of CCNA-level concentration exams with the new 200-301 exam. Some of the concentrations replaced by 200-301 include CCNA Design (200-310), CCNA Security (210-260), CCNA Collaboration (210-060 and 210-065), and CCNA Data Center (200-150 and 200-155). If you purchased Spoto ExSim-Max for the Cisco 200-310 DESGN practice exam after June 1, 2019, you are eligible for a free upgrade to Spoto ExSim-Max for the Cisco 200-301 CCNA practice exam as it becomes available. You are also eligible to upgrade to the Spoto ExSim-Max practice exam for the Cisco 200-301 CCNA if you purchased the Spoto ExSim-Max for the Cisco 210-260 IINS exam after June 1, 2019.
On the current Cisco exam pathway, you must pass the Implementing Cisco Collaboration Devices (CICD) 210-060 exam and the 210-065 Implementing Cisco Collaboration Devices (CIVND) exam to earn the CCNA Collaboration credential. Therefore, you must purchase a single user license for any equivalent Spoto product after June 1, 2019, to be eligible for the free SPOTO CCNP encor practice exam.
Similarly, the current CCNA Data Center certification requires that you pass the Cisco Data Center Networking Introduction 200-150 exam (DCICN) and the Cisco Data Center Technology Introduction (DCICT) 200-155 exam. To be eligible for a free upgrade when the Spoto ExSim-Max 200-301 CCNA product becomes available, you must purchase the equivalent ExSim-Max 200-150 and 200-155 Practice Exam products after June 1, 2019.
Upgrading Spoto Practice Exams
The current Cisco CCNP exam pathway requires you to pass three exams: CCNP ROUTE (300-105), CCNP SWITCH (300-115), and CCNP TSHOOT (300-135). Typically, Spoto provides the ExSim-Max Practice Exam product for each of the three. When the new CCNP Enterprise Core (ENCOR) 300-401 arrives on February 24, 2020, Cisco plans to move candidates who have passed ROUTE 300-105 and SWITCH 300-115 to the Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core credential. Those credentials are half of what you need to get the CCNP 300-410 ENARCY Dump.
If you purchase a single user license for ExSim-Max for the CCNP 300-105 ROUTE practice exam and ExSim-Max for CCNP 300-115 SWITCH after June 1, 2019, you are eligible for a free upgrade to ExSim-Max for the CCNP 300-401 ENCOR practice exam when available. You must purchase both practice exams after June 1, 2019. Only purchasing the ROUTE practice exam or only the SWITCH practice exam after June 1, 2019, does not qualify you for the free upgrade.
As for the CCNP TSHOOT (300-135), Cisco plans to transfer candidates who pass the exam before February 24, 2020, to the Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services credential. The credential requires you to pass the CCNP 300- 410 Enterprise Advanced Routing and Services (ENARSI) when the new exam path takes effect. Get these credentials in addition to the Cisco Certified Specialist – the Enterprise Core credential gives you the full CCNP Enterprise credential. Therefore, if you purchased a single user license for the ExSim-Max TSHOOT 300-135 practice exam product after June 1, 2019, you are eligible for a free upgrade to the ExSim-Max CCNP 300-410 ENARCH practice exam as it becomes available.
Upgrade Spoto CCNA and CCNP Courseware
In addition to network simulations and practice exams, Spoto offers a curriculum for CCNA and CCNP candidates. Candidates who purchase the existing Spoto CCNA or CCNP digital curriculum after June 1, 2019, will be eligible for a free upgrade to the new curriculum when it becomes available. Upgrades only apply to the digital edition of the curriculum. For example, if you purchased the Spoto Courseware digital edition for CCNA v3.0 after June 1, 2019, you are eligible for a free upgrade to the Spoto Courseware digital edition for 200-301 CCNA when available.
You are also eligible for the CCNA curriculum upgrade if you purchase the digital edition of Spoto Courseware for 100-105 ICND1 and the digital edition of Spoto Courseware for 200-105 ICND2 after 1 June 2019. You must purchase both ICND1 courseware and ICND2 courseware after 1 June 2019, to qualify.
